One of the most popular species for creating an antique floor is Oak.
The panache of the name - Oak, conjures up images of strength, history, and rugged charm.
When manufactured from a weathered board, Oak excels with it's ability to show its history
and character. These reasons, combined with exceptional durability, has made
Oak a big player in the antique flooring market.
However, reliably finding board stock from which to manufacture a high quality
product has always been a struggle. Typically this material comes from old barns,
and the salvage process is often done by people other than those who are invested
with a long-term view of the antique wood business. With these suppliers often
placing a low priority on servicing and maintaining customers, it has been
difficult to ensure quality and consistency.
WE TAKE A DIFFERENT APPROACH.
We can now offer High Quality Oak,
sorted & graded for Species, Yield and Reliable Re-Manufacturing!
No more sorting through pickup loads & hoping Not to end up with mixed hardwoods.
Plus, we can ship you just what you need.
Don't need a full truckload, but just 4,000 - 5,000 bd. ft. for the current order - No Problem.
Most orders will be ready to ship in two or three weeks, and with 20,000 - 30,000 bd. ft.
on sticks at any given time, we may be able to ship much faster.
